Jakob is from Denmark and brings broad experience in strategic communication, media relations, agenda setting and public relations to Norway and CC.
Jakob possesses great integrity and credibility and has a good eye for the small details as well as the bigger strategic lines. He makes good use of both when developing communication and media strategies that make an impact. And when executing them.
Prior to joining CC, Jakob was head of the public affairs and public relations department in Djøf, one of the biggest unions in Denmark, organizing lawyers and economists. He previously worked as an advisor at Ulveman & Børsting, a Danish strategic communications bureau, advising top management at big Danish and international companies in public affairs, public relations and strategic communication.
With a master’s degree in journalism from Roskilde University, Jakob worked several years at leading Danish media outlets Politiken and Berlingske, where he was both a journalist and editor. He also has experience as press advisor at the Danish political party Radikale Venstre.
The combination of media experience, public affairs knowledge and organizational understanding makes Jakob a versatile advisor.
Even though Jakob is Danish, he is very much into cross country skiing. He is married to Norwegian Ingrid and together they have Aksel.
