Thomas is an experienced financial media professional, serving almost 25 years in editorial positions. He helps clients get their financial and business message across, as well as getting on – or staying off – the front pages he used to make.
He is a keen and deft reader of financial accounts and stock exchange notices, being particularly happy when discovering the odd idiosyncrasy or great story.
Being an enthusiastic news junkie, with a particular inclination to the great business stories and dramas, Thomas makes sure that day-to-day communications through the news cycle coheres with clients larger, long-term strategic objectives.
Thomas holds a master’s degree (“civil economist”) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). Prior to joining CC, he was the financial news editor at DN, the Norwegian business paper of record, and before that the editor in chief of the financial newswire TDN Direkt (formerly known as TDN Finans). At DN, he was responsible for all markets and financial news coverage, including breaking news, long-running business dramas and financial crime, as well as agenda-setting documentaries. Thomas is also a board member of the foundation Hvite Busser.
Not busy at work, Thomas will be found at home tending to his garden with a glass of wine in his hand, or on the couch – a book at hand, or traveling to some place interesting.
