Jakob is an advisor with a background as a founder of several technology companies. At CC, he works primarily with analysis, technology, and regulatory processes.
Jakob holds a Master of Science in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU, with a specialization in artificial intelligence and operations research. He uses AI actively in his own work and helps clients put the technology to practical use.
Before CC, Jakob co-founded several companies, including Realfagshjelpen, which grew to more than 100 employees before being sold to Lumi Gruppen. He has led a number of projects on Norwegian tax and regulatory policy, and authored reports on wealth tax, exit tax, and the resource rent tax on aquaculture. First as CEO and now as chair of the board of Trøndelagsstiftelsen, a foundation working to strengthen Trøndelag as a base for capital management, private ownership, and corporate headquarters, he has experience from the intersection of private enterprise, public institutions, and regulatory processes.
He is particularly interested in how artificial intelligence can be applied in communications work, from analysis and insight to it ability to create better internal workflows.
