Maggie Yang is Australian and has lived in Norway for the past 12 years. Before joining Corporate Communications, she spent a decade in fundraising and investor relations, working across fintech, private equity funds and listed equities funds.

Her background includes seven years at Verdane, one of Northern Europe’s leading private equity firms, followed by Sector Asset Management, where she worked with hedge funds and long-only equity funds.

Today, Maggie helps companies improve their investor communications towards venture capital and private equity investors, and supports funds in building stronger relationships with international institutional investors. Her work combines strategic communications, fundraising expertise and a cross-cultural perspective from operating across both Norwegian and international markets.

Maggie holds a Master of Science in Business (siviløkonom) with a major in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Melbourne.

Before having kids, Maggie enjoyed attending Norwegian festivals like Vinjerock, Trevarefest, and Trænafestivalen. Nowadays, her favorite hobby is savouring a hot cup of coffee in peace, and while it’s still hot!
