Kaia Tetlie previously worked as an information officer for the Holberg Prize, and conducted voluntarily work for among others the Red Cross and Amnesty International Norway. Additionally, Tetlie has experience as a writer for the Norwegian newspaper Bergens Tidende. She is an experienced social media manager and has led courses in how to use them. As a student in Bergen, Tetlie chaired the Student Society. It is the city’s largest forum for public debate with more than 100 events annually. The organisation was voluntary run by around 80 students that Tetlie had the overall responsibility for. Tetlie has a bachelor's degree in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen, Norway, and a master’s degree in Political Science in Action: Leadership, Communications and Elections from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
